Born March 20, 1968 in Chelyabinsk. In 1991 graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Since 1998 he has been engaged by the Russian Cultural Foundation as an expert in the implementation of various programs and projects. In 2000, he became a co-founder and executive director of the Interregional Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Mariinsky Theatre; since 2001 - Chairman of the Board of the Fund. In 2001-2003 - Acting Director of the Gorky Film Studio. From 2003 to 2010 - General Director of the Gorky Film Studio.
Member of the Russian Academy of Cinematographic Arts "NIKA".
Since 2006, Chairman of the Board of the Kino&Theatre Foundation (Cinema Lounge, St. Petersburg).
