On March 25th at 7:00 PM, the TheatreHD Opera Club at the GUM Cinema Hall presents a special screening of Mozart's Don Giovanni in a production by the stellar duo of Romeo Castellucci and Teodor Currentzis. The role of Donna Anna is performed by the magnificent soprano Nadezhda Pavlova.
Before the screening, we will discuss this groundbreaking production—the main event of the 2021 Salzburg Festival—with Dana Nagina, a musicologist, Associate Professor at the Department of Analytical Musicology at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, and a lecturer on musical form and the history and analysis of opera and ballet performances.
