About

"The Last Fairy Tale" is the most large-scale and high-tech production by the theatrical company "Broadway Moscow," founded by Dmitry Bogachev. The music was composed by Evgeny Zagot, with lyrics by the poet and translator Alexey Ivashchenko. Choreography was created by Irina Kashuba, with artistic design by set designer Maxim Obrezkov, video set designer Asya Mukhina, costume designer Yasya Rafikova, and lighting designer Alexander Sivaev. The play is directed by Anna Shevchuk. The premiere took place on December 7, 2024, on the stage of the MDM Theatre (Moscow).

Summary

Max and his girlfriend Zhenya couldn't imagine life without each other, but now a wall of misunderstanding has grown between them. It seems only a miracle can save their relationship. A magical force transports the heroes from modern Moscow to the world of a fairy-tale Orient, where they meet the Genie, Aladdin, Ali Baba, Sultan Suleiman, and Scheherazade. Incredible adventures become their chance to understand themselves, listen to their hearts, and comprehend their true desires. Luxurious palaces and bustling bazaars come to life on stage, a majestic caravan processes through the hall, and the main characters fly towards their dream on a real magic carpet.
